I totally got ripped off, I got quoted ,$70 for a 2nd hand tyre which was well and good but then they saw my munted tyre that was to be replaced and told me that it would now cost $&$180 because it would be a lot of labour to take the remaining rubber off my rim. I replied that I should go to a wreckers then and they told me there were no wreckers in Tauranga so I reluctantly agreed to fork out the $180 and about 30 minutes later, my second hand tyre was on my car.
So about $110.00 for about 20 minutes or less of labour and ti cap it all off, upon looking up Google, found that there was indeed a wreckers in Tauranga!!
